About us

The company Anlagenbau für Bädertechnik GmbH & Co. Schwimmbad-Service KG, simply known as AfB, has been in the business of plant engineering for the construction of lifting floors for pools for 50 years.

Specializing in the construction of movable floors since 1997 - at home and abroad.

A highly motivated team specializing in these products is capable of mastering each individual project and the challenges associated with it.

The company is located on the outskirts of Hanover - at no.18 Chemnitzer Strasse, 30952 Empelde.

Concrete lifting floors

Concrete lifting floors allow you to exploit the possibilities and use of building space with swimming pools in the garden or patio to create ambience.

Concrete lifting floors can be raised to zero level, ie: above the water surface to the same level as the patio or pool edge.

Stainless steel lifting floors use an electrically driven scissors mechanism with a threaded spindle or hydraulic system.

The version with the hydraulic scissors mechanism allows less water depth in comparison with the threaded spindle system.

We do not have sufficient data on their service life compared with that of concrete lifting floors which last for more than 50 years.

It is certain however that the service life is greater than that of GRP lifting floors.
